Directions to Madesa MX in Virden.

Directions from stop lights on HWY #1 at Virden

  • Head North on Commonwealth Drive

  • Turn right (East) onto HWY 259, travel approx. 3/4 mile

  • On the North side of the road, there is a sign that reads “Virden Municipal and Industrial Waste Facility”. Turn North down that road and proceed approximately 3.5 miles North.

  • Turn right (East) at the 3.5 mile point and drive 1/4 of a mile and you have reached the track.

There will also be ample signage to lead the way!

If any last minute changes occur on race day they will be announced at the track.

The Central Canadian Amateur National is open to everyone, no qualifications* required!
*If a class exceeds 40+ racers, qualifiers will be held and the race schedule will be adjusted accordingly.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult to sign waiver.

Practice Friday morning for register racers only.

Racing to follow Friday through to Sunday with a 3-moto format. Friday: Moto 1, Saturday: Moto 2, Sunday: Moto 3.

Yamaha bLU cRU Factory Ride Award

Yamaha Motor Canada is pleased to announce the continuation of its popular bLU cRU Factory Ride Award program for the 2022 outdoor motocross season with the newly added Central Canadian Amateur National! This one-of-a-kind award gives amateur racers the chance to win the complimentary use of a YZ motorcycle for the following race season, in addition to a $2,500 Yamaha parts credit.

Celebration of Life: Ed Mosiewich

Ed Mosiewich

We are saddened to learn of the passing of this Manitoba MX legend and staple, Ed Mosiewich. For many, many years Ed could be found at the track each summer shooting photos, helping with the logistics of the day and chatting with riders.

Today, Ed would be celebrating his 70th birthday, happy heavenly birthday old friend and thank you for your contribution to our sport and our community, you will be missed!

A celebration of life will be held next Saturday, June 25th at 2pm at Thomson in the Park, 1291 McGillivray Blvd in Winnipeg.

Our deepest condolences to Ed's family and friends.
