• Sign up through regular race registration link above

• No membership required

• Sign In: 3pm - 4pm

• Practice: 4:30pm (5 minutes/class with racing to follow immediately afterwards)

• 2 moto format with Olympic scoring being used (1 st place=1 pt, 2nd place=2 pts and so on.  Lowest overall points wins the race)

Classes

• 50cc beginner shaft 3 speed auto (no previous racing experience)

• 50cc Open

• 70cc-110 3 speed auto (beginner)

• 110cc Beginner/junior open

• 110cc intermediate/pro

Round 6 - Zhoda International Raceway

Another big thank you goes out to the Altona promoters group led by Landon Stephenson for working on their track for the entire week prior to their race.  Time and again racers mentioned that this was the best they had ever seen the track, and with their soil we can all appreciate the time and effort this kind of prep took to be ready.

Well, this time we did not duck the rain, but we did escape the worst of it thankfully and we could go on to complete the motos with the exception of the 50cc class-thanks to the parents for their understanding of this decision.  We did make the call to cut out a section of the track to allow us to complete the day and it all worked out quite well all things considered.

Both Zhoda and the following race in Grunthal next weekend represent events in the southern region of our province and there have been some COVID spikes in this area as of late, so I would once again urge everyone to continue to cooperate with the COVID guidelines to the best of our collective ability.  With three races left in the series we need to remain committed to doing what is required from us right until our last race in Brandon.  Thanks to everyone for your cooperation and support as we work our way through an excellent summer of racing to date.
